Petro Kotin met with CAMECO’s President
On October 3, 2023, a working meeting of NNEGC President Petro Kotin with the Canadian delegation of CAMECO led by President and CEO Tim Gitzel was held at the Energoatom office.
Petro Kotin thanked the partners for the long-awaited visit to Kyiv to discuss joint projects.
"Finally, we are meeting in our capital. I am grateful to you for taking the time. I am sure that we will successfully implement everything that has already been planned and will expand our cooperation in the future," Energoatom’s President said.
Tim Gitzel noted that Canada and CAMECO remain committed to supporting Ukraine, while the partnership between the companies will continue.
"We are glad to be here in Kyiv and at the Energoatom office. Thank you for the warm welcome. I am convinced that our relations will strengthen and cooperation will expand for decades to come," CAMECO’s President and CEO stated.
Following the meeting, Petro Kotin and Tim Gitzel signed a joint protocol, which confirmed further cooperation between the companies.
