Energoatom will cooperate with the NGO “For Our Future”
On July 23, 2024, the head of Energoatom Petro Kotin and Chairman of the Board of the NGO “For Our Future” Anton Petrov signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The NGO brings together like-minded people and volunteers from Ukraine, Lithuania, Poland, Germany and the United Kingdom to promote energy and environmental security of Ukraine, as well as to provide comprehensive assistance to victims of the military aggression of the russian federation. The organization advocates the development of nuclear industry as a base generation in Ukraine.
Petro Kotin highlighted the importance of partnership. The joint work will help inform the public about nuclear projects in Ukraine.
“Energoatom needs and appreciates cooperation with public organizations. Together we help to shape the image of nuclear energy and emphasize its importance for the energy mix of Ukraine,” said the head of Energoatom.
In his turn, Anton Petrov noted that such cooperation is a great experience and an opportunity to join the implementation of large projects for the NGO “For Our Future”.
As a reminder, earlier, Energoatom agreed to cooperate with the All-Ukrainian NGO “Association of Agroecologists of Ukraine”, the Public Union “Professional Association of Environmentalists of the World (PAEW)” and the NGO “Environment. Smart”.
