On June 13, 2024, a production meeting was held with SUNPP Director General Ihor Polovych and
the staff of the South Ukraine NPP under the chairmanship of Petro Kotin, Head of JSC

“Energoatom”. Oleh Korikov, Chairman of SNRIU, also took part in the event.
The meeting discussed:
• the main performance indicators of the Company for 5 months of 2024;
• progress of the repair campaign at domestic nuclear power plants;
• plans for the construction of new capacities at the SUNPP;
• plans for the development of nuclear power generation in Ukraine.

Petro Kotin talked with the SUNPP staff, answered all questions, in particular, regarding the
situation at the temporarily occupied ZNPP, the progress of the corporatization of Energoatom, and
the preparation of power units for the heating season.
“I wouild like to thank you for your efforts during the repair campaign. Today, it is very important
to do everything so that the power units come out of maintenance as soon as possible. And we
succeed. Your hard work proves that nuclear workers will continue to hold the energy front so that
Ukrainians have light, despite the enemy's efforts to destroy our energy infrastructure,” Head of
Energoatom said.

In the end, Head of NNEGC awarded the nuclear power specialists with certificates of
acknowledgement and honour – for conscientious performance of their work duties, high
professionalism, responsible work and significant contribution to the development of nuclear power
industry in Ukraine.

Petro Kotin also held a staff meeting on preparations for the construction of two power units based
on Westinghouse AP1000 technology at the South Ukraine NPP.
We remind you that Energoatom and Westinghouse agreed on the construction of nine new power
units in Ukraine using AP1000 technology.
