russia is actively waging an information war against Ukrainian nuclear energy, using various means to discredit and destabilize the strategic industry. One of the main tools of this war is the use of individual Ukrainian journalists who manipulate public opinion without bothering to carry out an objective analysis and comprehensive study of the topics of the publications.

Therefore, on June 3, 2024, another “sensational” article appeared on the “Nashi Hroshi” (“Our Money”) web resource with the author's dilettantish guesses about the procurements of industrial goods and services for the modernization of systems at the SUNPP, which are necessary during outages for the autumn-winter period.

We draw the attention of the public and media representatives – do not go along with false accusation and misinformation, but trust only sources of verified information!

• We emphasize that JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” pursues all procurements in accordance with the requirements of current legislation.
• All agreements are concluded on the Prozzoro site.
• Energoatom published the technical specifications for the procurement items indicating the required scopes of work, according to which the participants had the opportunity to calculate the cost and submit proposals for their implementation. All market participants could participate in the tender.
• In view of the fact that JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom” belongs to the facilities of critical infrastructure, design estimate documentation regarding construction works remains unavailable for general viewing in the Unified State Electronic System in the field of construction for national security reasons.
• The author's accusations of overstating the wages for construction workers are nonobjective and superficial. The estimated wages in construction are determined by the provisions of the order of the Ministry of Regional Construction No. 281 dated October 20, 2016. In particular, the wage rate, when drawing up the price of the tender offer of the contractor, is set by the tenderer, based on the average monthly salary of one full-time employee.

Therefore, in order to prevent uncontrolled formation of the amount of estimated wages by contractors of construction works, the order of NNEGC “Energoatom” No. 01-928-n dated 03/10/2023 established the amount of estimated monthly wages of UAH 32,000 which corresponds to the complexity 3.8 of construction works.

• The attempt of the publication author to find a connection between Energoatom's cooperation with the companies that are probably related to rosatom is absolutely groundless. NNEGC does not make any purchases from suppliers that have connections to the russian federation. In order to implement the decisions of еhe National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, put into effect by Presidential Decrees, on the initiative of the head of Energoatom, there is a valid order to carry out checks regarding the existence of cooperation with those counterparties to which sanctions have been applied.

Moreover, this inspection procedure is under constant control of the Company's management and relevant services.

In addition, it was its active position in the fight for the independence of the Ukrainian nuclear energy industry and the destruction of the rosatom monopoly that made the head of Energoatom the target of attacks by russian agents.

Unfortunately, the incompetent posts of the authors of “Nashi Hroshi” (“Our Money”) provoke mistrust on the part of the public, which is probably what the kremlin agents are doing aimed at destroying the basic energy sector of our country.

This very strategy is part of a broader hybrid war that russia is waging against Ukraine, aimed at weakening Ukrainian statehood and undermining its economic potential. Therefore, it is important to keep vigilance and be critical of such information.
