For four months now, Ukraine has been suffering from unprecedented acts of nuclear terrorism from russia, and under these challenging circumstances, it is necessary to consolidate efforts to effectively confront the enemy, help the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard as well as support people affected by russian military aggression.

This was stated today, June 22, 2022, by the President of the Company Petro Kotin during a meeting of its management team, Directors General of NPPs and mayors of satellite cities held at the premises of SE «NNEGC «Energoatom». The event was attended by People's Deputy of Ukraine Artem Chornomorov, the Head of Energoatom trade union Oleksiy Lych and the Executive Director for Human Resources Oleh Boyaryntsev, Mayor of Enerhodar Dmytro Orlov, Mayor of Netishyn Oleksandr Suprunyuk, Mayor of Varash Oleksandr Menzul, Mayor of Slavutych Yurii Fomichev, Acting Mayor of Yuzhnoukrainsk Oleksandr Akulenko as well as Directors General of Rivne, South Ukraine and Khmelnytskyy nuclear power plants.

He noted that the Company's losses due to hostilities already exceed UAH 40 billion. Despite all the challenges, Energoatom keeps operating for Ukraine. Active cooperation with the Company's strategic partner - the American Westinghouse - is ongoing, which will help strengthen and further develop the Ukrainian nuclear industry using advanced innovative technologies.

Separately, Petro Kotin stressed the efforts of NNEGC in solving the urgent issues of Zaporizhzhya NPP employees and Enerhodar residents, who now need both financial and moral support:
