Students of nuclear specialties are the future of the Ukrainian nuclear industry
Yevhen Pysmennyi, Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Atomic and Thermal Energy, took part in the discussion panel held within the framework of the International Conference “Nuclear Possibilities for the Country’s Development: Wartime and Postwar Recovery” hosted by JSC “NNEGC “Energoatom”.
The head of the educational institution emphasized that over the past few years, the number of students majoring in Nuclear Energy at the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute named after Igor Sikorsky has remained consistently high. “In times of war, people think about the future, which is why young people choose to study in nuclear specialties,” Yevhen Pysmennyi added.
As part of his speech, Yevhen Pysmennyi spoke in detail about the training of future nuclear engineers.
Energoatom understands the importance of training a new generation of nuclear sector professionals, who will be a key component of its development.
