Energoatom and the US Civil Research & Development Foundation will cooperate in the field of information and cyber resilience
On March 29, 2024, the head of Energoatom Petro Kotin and the Regional Director of the Civil Research and Development Foundation of the United States of America (CRDF Global) Mykhailo Verych signed an agreement on mutual understanding and cooperation.
The head of NNEGC noted that the issue of countering the information attacks of the enemy and the growing number of cyber threats was important for the entire country.
“I hope that the agreement signed today will become the basis for the expansion and improvement of the Company's policy in the field of cyber security, information stability and physical protection of strategic facilities,” Petro Kotin emphasized.
In his turn, the Regional Director of CRDF Global Mykhailo Verych emphasized that the Fund's specialists perfectly understood the problems of disinformation and cyberattacks aimed at the critical infrastructure of Ukraine, and they are ready to use all possible capabilities to counter them.
The partnership of Energoatom with the Foundation will initiate and develop effective communication between structures in confrontation with growing threats in the field of cyber protection, information and other areas of national security.
