Parliament approved Energoatom’s corporatization
Today, February 6, 2023, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the draft Law on the joint-stock company «National Nuclear Energy Generating Company «Energoatom» in the second reading. 259 people's representatives voted for the relevant decision.
The Law proposes to determine the procedure for the establishment of the joint-stock company «NNEGC «Energoatom», 100% of which is state-owned, as well as the procedure for forming authorized capital and the operation of this company.
As a reminder, in the first reading, the draft law on the corporatization of Energoatom was adopted on October 19, 2022.
